What is Akua?
Akua stands for Akua + alKaline water. It’s the name of electrolyzed alKaline Water generated from small device. And also AKua is the household machine which produces alkaline electrolyzed water and acidic electrolyzed water through electrolysis process.
Production principle of electrolyzed water.
When in the electrolytic cell a direct-current voltage flows in the water, the cation (Ca+, Na+,Mg+) moves to negative pole and the anion (CI-, S-) moves to the positive pole. If the voltage between two poles is sufficient, the bipolar water that touches on pole-surface is electrolyzed and then alkaline water and acidic water are produced.
Alkaline electrolyzed water with high PH is produced at a anode, because there are a lot of cationic, hydroxide ion (OH-), H2. Acidic electrolyzed water with low PH is produced at an cathode, because there are a lot of anion such as Cl-, S- and hydrogen ion (H+).
